Let us bring the news to you
We are introducing a new STS eNewsletter with this website where we can package up the news articles and send out a summary to you every quarter. If there is something that we consider is very important and worth bringing to the attention of our subscribers we can send out an alert. The new system allows you to subscribe yourself, and unsubscribe yourself, so you remain in control all of the time. We have made a policy that we will not add anyone to the database, even if they request to be added. Only you can do that.
The system requires you to provide your email address and name, if you can optionally provide your postal code, then this may give us the opportunity to connect with a sub group of people based on planning going on in their area. We will not share any of the data with any thirds parties, and it will be exclusively used in association with Staines Town Society.
What you need to do
Enter your name, email address and optionally your postal code in the form. This is stored by the website. The website will send you a messsage with a link in it. You need to locate that email and click on a link in it to complete the process. Once you have done that you are in our subscriber list.

How do I remove myself?
When we send out a communication to you, there is a link at the bottom of each message. Click on that link to unsubscribe yourself.
Our promise to you
We will generally send out messages using the subscriber list on a monthly or less frequent basis. It is not our intention to fill up your inbox with messages on a daily or weekly basis. However as you are probably aware from time to time there are surveys from planning authorities, local government, and agencies appointed by local government or the national government. Some of these are advertised very well, and some less so. Equally there will from time to time be high profile or large developments proposed that will impact our environment.
Staines Town Society Alert
Under such circumstances we will send out a special message to you called an STS Alert. It will link back to some detail on our website about something that is happening that you may wish to know about. It is entirely up to you if you respond or not. We will do our best to keep you informed.
