Anne Damerell

Anne’s contribution to the Society over many years has been amazing. She applied her analytical mind to planning issues for the good of the community and this distinguishing quality was balanced by her profoundly practical approach, which endeared her to all.  Anne was kind by nature, dedicated to encouraging and helping others, she did not seek praise for achievement, a successful outcome or a succinct appraisal; she will be much missed by us and the many other groups she was involved with in Staines.

Anne’s Memorial gathering; a celebration of her life, will be held at St Peter’s Church Hall, Laleham Road on Saturday 14 November 2026 12.30 – 4pm.
