WINTER DINNER

Join us at the Bells, Church Street, on 28 January 2016 at 7.30 for 8 pm for the Society’s winter dinner, price approx £25 including coffee and your first glass of wine. Booking details and menu will be included in our Christmas card, but please save the date for a very convivial evening.

MEMBERSHIP

We extend a very warm welcome to all our new members and Facebook friends. Our aims are:

1) to retain our sense of identity as an individual riverside town, not as part of the urban sprawl

2) to promote good quality building design

3) to promote a sense of community and improve our living space, by providing considered feedback regarding transport and green space.

If you are a FB Friend and wish to upgrade to become a full member, please print/complete the online form and send it with your membership fee of £3 per person or £5 per household to Phil Scott our Treasurer. Volunteers are welcome, whether it’s for a one-off project or joining our committee – if you’re interested, we’d like to hear from you, preferably by email.

PUBLIC MEETING

We plan to hold a public meeting in 2016 – please email to let us know, what are the most important issues in Staines for you/your family?  Before we set the agenda, we are interested in receiving your comments (good or bad), about Staines e.g. traffic, noise, pollution, buildings, parking, shopping, signs, trees, public art, parks, the river etc, etc.
