The Planning Inspectorate reported on this appeal last week – planning permission was refused by Spelthorne Borough Council for 14 flats on land adjacent to the Town Hall and Old Fire Station in March 2014. The applicants Hopetown Staines Ltd lodged an appeal with the Secretary of State but the Planning Inspectorate letter dated 27 February 2015 confirms the decision is upheld.
The letter makes some interesting points, which will provide useful guidance for this site in the future.
