New planning application (Ref. 15/00106/FUL) received for the Staines conservation area, at the retail end of Church Street. The current owners of Pretty Nails, no.9 Church Street have applied for permission to extend into the former tea shop at no. 7 Church Street.
The window of no.7 is currently set back at an angle, on one side and might be thought to contribute to the unique “village” character of Church Street. The plans propose to alter this for a straight frontage, with a double length sign above, similar in size to those above Tops Pizza and MOVA Hair Salon.
